#The100DayProject – My Plan!

The fantastic and fun 100 Day Project is back!  It all starts today, April 2nd, every year.  Creators from all over the world are taking on the challenge to create a small piece for a larger project each day for 100 days.  In the end, they should have a large completed work!

This is my first year participating with #The100dayproject, so I wanted to keep it casual and easy for myself.  I am using two Canson Mixed Media Journals and a ton of mixed media supplies with the goal to fill them up with pretty things.  No real parameters or structure, just to play everyday and get messy!  My hope is by filling these two art journals, I will feel motivated to keep getting messy and use my supplies more often.

Here is what I’m starting with:

I will switch out colors every week to keep the kit feeling fresh and exciting, but basically sticking to these types of media:

Dylusions Acrylic Paint

Vicki Boutin Art Crayons

Prima Watercolors

Dylusions Mists

Shimmerz Paints

Distress Oxides

Paint Markers

I’m really excited to get started with this project and (fingers crossed!) can’t wait to see the final results!  More info about what my plans are can be found here:

  1. Sounds like a great plan, and the flexible approach gives you some scope to keep it realistic. Looking forward to seeing how you get on. Im doing the 100 day project too. 100 days of A4 scrapbook layouts. Going Ok so far, but I have been known to flake out – so I’m hoping I can stick with it. :/

    1. It’s definitely a challenging project! This is my first year really committing to it and so far, I am keeping up! I will have a flip through of the first journal I’ve completed up soon. I think the key for me was to remove high expectations of perfection and instead focus on making progress each day.
