This sweet layout features two pictures of my sweet son, Joseph, at a school farm field trip. He’s always been a bit on the shy side, especially for pictures. When I printed out the photos, I was so happy to see that little grin of his and just had to scrap them immediately!
I used my Simple Stories I Am based kit from the Secret Not Secret Kit Club. I really wanted to keep this layout fairly simple and focus on layering. Playing with layers is really my favorite part of scrapbooking!
This clear sticker in the corner says, “It’s the little things that make life perfect,” which is so very true!! Clear stickers are great to use on those empty spaces in your photos or you can back them on white card stock to turn the into a die cut!
This cluster below the photo has ephemera from my kit, a piece of DIY faux flair, some wood veneer hearts and a leftover “today” journaling spot from my desk, and a bit of gorgeous gold foil trim from Crate Paper.
For my title, I used this “adorable” wood veneer from Elle Studio and a “smile” banner ephemera from my desk! Love to grab bits and pieces from old kits and incorporate them into new layouts!
Overall, this layout makes me so happy! I think it’s important to feature little moments like these that mean so much to me. Not just the big events and holidays, but also the ones that tug at your heart too!
