This photo is of my sweet daughter and my wonderful mother-in-law. I just had to give this photo a place of honor in our scrapbook to symbolize their special friendship. Love having such supportive loving people like her in my children’s lives!
This layout used the Citrus Twist November Kit and several new to me techniques. I used a fabulous color of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks to make the magenta color for the cardstock that I used to back the cut file flowers and banner. I used several different pattern papers to back the other cut files.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out these very delicate butterflies as well. I love how they came out, but I still haven’t perfected the process! I used some glittery purple enamel dots for the butterfly’s body and glittery gold Nuvo drops for the center of the rose.
This rose cut file was backed with blue paper and I just love how intricate it is! A great addition to the banner at the top left, with a drop of glittery gold Nuvo drops for good measure.
Overall, I’m very happy with how this layout came out and I will probably scraplift this idea from myself in the future. Great way to incorporate cut files and inks into a layout. Below is the process video for this layout, I would love for you to subscribe to my Youtube channel and join me on my scrappy adventures!
