I assembled a bold green, teal, and purple DIY kit for November and it is still going strong! This fun pocketless pages style layout features pictures from Easter 2012 and is one of my new favorites. I really love the Kaisercraft Sea Breeze collection that I added to this kit and using them has been a real treat!
Using wood veneer really brings dimension to this layout, as does the fussy cut flowers from the previous month’s kit. I like to add any leftover bits and pieces from the previous kit to the current one so I’m more likely to use them up!
These tiny word stickers are a great way to add a small embellishment to the photos without taking away from the pictures. And I may be a bit obsessed with the tiny puffy hearts at the moment! They are going to be a staple in my stash for a while, I think!
Used brads from my stash to add some metallic shine and interest to this small embellishment. The “Little Things” border is a branding strip from one of the papers in my DIY kit.
Overall, I’m loving all of the purple in this page, it’s such an underused color in scrapbooking! Any excuse to use it is one I’m willing to take! However, this kit has a very limited color scheme and that has made it challenging to find coordinating photos.
