This bright and cheerful layout will be the title page to my 2016 album. Love scrapbooking these sweet family photos that we have done every year! For this picture, which featured a variety of blues, pinks, and yellow, I decided to let the pattern papers run wild! These all came from the Citrus Twist November kit and Dear Lizzy add-ons.
I matted my focal image three times and then added a navy blue doily from my stash to provide a base for my floral cluster. These ephemera pieces came from the kit and I added the bird from a leftover chipboard sticker pack.
This cluster in the top right corner has three banners, one punched from navy blue cardstock, one created by layering gold washi tape on white cardstock, and one from the Star Gazers ephemera pack. The numbers are from a white Thickers pack in my stash.
This fabulous chipboard circle with my title on it came from the Turn the Page collection. Originally designed as a speech bubble, I modified it to appear as a circle and then added a gold heart to cover the cut. The ribbon underneath comes wrapped around every Citrus Twist kit and I use it up every month!
The scalloped pattern paper is beautiful, so I cut along the design to complement the scallop I created on the top border with my Kiwi Lane template.
