“Love This Dog” ~ Emma ~12×12 Layout

These pictures are of my beautiful rescue puppy, Emma.  We adopted her from the local shelter the day before she was scheduled to be put down.  Her picture was posted on the shelter’s Facebook page and those big brown eyes captured me.  The shelter named her “Mabel,” which I always thought was an odd choice for a dog and had marked that she was facing the “rainbow bridge” the next day because she’d overstayed her welcome there.  I immediately made arrangements to get her and she’s the sweetest dog you could ever meet!

For this layout, I decided to do a Pocketless Pages style because I had so many photos to use.  I used my Citrus Twist Kit for October and cut the title from “Radiant” of the Carousel Collection and added a puffy heart sticker in the center.

This rainbow tag came from the Turn the Page Journaling Spots that I added to this kit.  I had these adorable Jolee’s dog print stickers from my stash as well as the “to err is human, to forgive is Canine” cardstock sticker.  Added some twine and it was done!  The “Dog” piece from the title is another of the Journaling Spots with the letters cut from a sticker in my stash.

This DIY Pocket that I made with the Citrus Twist exclusive Criss-cross paper was super easy!  I added a chipboard sticker from the Turn the Page Chipboard sheet.  The chevrons under the date came from the “Dazzle” paper in the  Carousel Collection.  The labels on the photos are from the Citrus Twist exclusive cut-apart sheet, these and the epoxy stickers also come with the kit.

This cute frame around Emma’s sleeping face was from the Turn the Page Ephemera pack and the “Go to Sleep” came from the Citrus Twist cut-apart sheet.  I really enjoyed putting this Pocketless Pages style layout together!  Working with such adorable photos certainly contributed to that!

Overall, I’m very happy with this layout and thrilled to use that giant title.  I definitely will try that out again in the future!
