“Women’s Retreat” Pocketless Page

These pictures are from a fun retreat that myself and several of the ladies from our church went to at Cedars of Lebanon Campground in the Nashville, TN area.  We had a ton of fun, playing games, watching videos, and eating!  The cute little mouse drawing was one I helped create in one of our group sessions.  The theme of the retreat was “Risk Something New” and that was definitely something new for me!

I used my Citrus Twist October kit for this layout and just adore this Pink Paislee Turn the Page floral paper!  I think I used it on nearly every layout from this kit.  The colors were just perfect for these photos.

The clear sticker alphas on the cabin picture came from the Maggie Holmes Carousel sticker sheet as well!  I loved this picture of my name tag at the retreat.  I added a flower to it that were passed around to all the ladies.  I kept this pretty simple with just a heart sticker and used a label from the cut-apart and tag from the ephemera pack underneath.

This great Dr. Seuss quote was on the back of our name tags, so I saved it for my layout!  i used the back of the Maggie Holmes Carousel paper to mat the quote.

These thickers are from American Crafts New Day and they match perfectly to the Pink Paislee Papers, love that!  The epoxy sticker came was a Citrus Twist exclusive (love that about Citrus Twist kits!).

Overall, this layout came out great!  I will definitely continue doing this Pocketless Pages style, it’s so much fun to play around with.  My favorite part was the Pink Paislee frame on my drawing.
