“Hello Puppy ~ Maggie” Layout

This adorable little puppy is my in-law’s Miniature Australian Shepherd, Magnolia (who they call “Maggie”).  She is a such a beautiful dog and these pictures are from when they first brought her home.  I used up my last piece of 12 x 12 paper as the background, it’s a light pink with white floral, then used as many of the remaining pieces of the kit as I thought fit with the color scheme as well.  This was my final layout with the Felicity Jane Heidi kit from September!

The cute little embellishment between the pictures is a DIY embellishment I made from some packaging, a technique I love to do!  I used up the last three tassels underneath of it and the last of the confetti hexagons on the banner at the top.  I used some branding strips and scraps to create the bottom border and the mats around the photo.

I used a ton of those tiny wood veneer hexagons, but still have many to use on future layouts.  These hearts were punched from scraps and journaling cards and the “Create Your Happy” was a fussy cut shape from a journaling card layered on top of another as well.  The larger tag is from the kit and the smaller one I created to fit in that cute little pocket.  Then, I added lace ribbon to both tags.  As is typical with my layouts, gold Nuvo drops and tiny puffy stickers for accent finish it off!

Overall, I really enjoyed making this layout and it came together quite easily despite being at the very end of the kit!
