#Twins? Layout

I have had these three adorable 4″ x 4″ square photos of my twins for about 4 years and just could not find the right way to scrap them!  I’ve pulled them out to admire them and then put them back in the photo envelope.  Do you have pictures like that?  They were taken on my phone and aren’t brilliant quality, which is why I printed them so small, but I love them nonetheless.

When I saw this beautiful pink with white floral background paper, I was inspired to use it for just this layout.  The many layers and details were a long process over a week of adding and walking away.  Considering ideas and trying things when I had time.  Overall, I think it came out quite nice!  Very happy to be able to enjoy these pictures in my album now!

Every major element of this layout is from Felicity Jane’s September kit.  A few of the small stickers are from my stash (hearts/butterfly) as is the black checked ribbon in the tag.  My favorite part of the layout is the DIY Embellishment in the center that I created from the packaging for the kit pieces!  I used my punches to create the scalloped circle base and layered smaller punched pieces on top.  The fern leaves behind were part of the kit’s ephemera pack. The two cards on the bottom are journaling cards from the kit that I modified, added an embellishment cluster to one and lines/journaling to the other.  The Pretty Amazing Stamp came from the kit as well!  I so enjoy working with a coordinated kit!
